  • The Power of Local Food: Growing a More Resilient Future

What if the food on our plates could help shape a better future for our communities? Talk with Ann Owen. The way we produce, buy and eat food has far-reaching consequences, for our health, our environment, our local economy and even our food security. But how much do we really know about where our food comes from, and what it takes to produce it? With increasingly unpredictable weather, rising costs and fragile global supply chains, the importance of growing food closer to home has never been greater. Join us to discover why local food matters, the challenges facing our farmers and growers, and the exciting opportunities to build a thriving, sustainable local food system. Most importantly, find out how the choices we make every day can help shape a future where good food is accessible to everyone, local producers flourish, and our communities are better prepared for whatever lies ahead.
