Dyfi Diary Guidelines and policies

By using the Dyfi Diary, you are agreeing to abide by the terms of this policy whenever you use or access the Diary.

Uploading events to the Dyfi Diary

Events and activities can be added by using the event submission form.

Uploaded information will be checked by moderators before it will appear on the calendar.  You should allow up to 72 hours after an event has been submitted before it appears on the Diary.

All event information must be provided in both Welsh and English.  The site will automatically translate between languages if required but Dyfi Diary gives no guarantee as to the accuracy of translation.

Moderation of events

The moderators reserve the right to refuse publication of events that do not fit with the ethos of positive community engagement and activity.  Refusal may be enacted at the moderators’ discretion without explanation.

The following events are unlikely to be accepted for inclusion in the Diary

  • Events organised by or promoting particular political parties

  • Events that may promote or normalise hate, racism or discrimination of any kind

  • Events that could promote or incite illegal activities

  • Events that are for purely commercial purposes without a recognisable benefit to the community

  • Posts for things other than events (ie  Job adverts, Wanted / For Sale / Campaign information, Business promotion etc)

  • Events that are not within the Bro Ddyfi area.

The moderators will ensure posts are appropriate to the best of their ability, but if you see an event that you do not think meets our guidelines, please report it to hello@dyfidiary.org
